The Pit is a 7-piece jazz ensemble that seamlessly blends a diverse range of musical tastes and styles to create a truly unique sound. Featuring a full sax quartet with multiple doubles, along with a driving rhythm section, the band fearlessly pushes the boundaries of jazz by combining original compositions, arrangements of video game music, and reimagined jazz standards into a cohesive and captivating performance. Led by Rob Carruthers, an undergraduate at York University, The Pit is a band that is sure to captivate audiences and leave a lasting impression!
