Since emigrating from Poland in 1960, Roger has called Toronto his home. He is so taken with his new surroundings that he’s written several songs about his new homeland.

To his surprise and delight, some of his tunes have been featured on CBC Radio and his CD’s placed on University radio charts. Radio stations in Europe, USA and Argentina have also played his music. Roger has also been a favourite of Deirdre Mallehe’s programmes, “musically Yours| on www.thehazefm.ca and Rogers cable in Mississauga.

Hugh Reilly of www.thatchannel.com refers to Roger as “That Legendary Toronto Blues Guy”. Reviews for his blues CDs in Spain have been great.

Roger’s music crosses many genres: folk, blues, country and gospel. Not only has Roger been gigging in the GTA including Harbourfront Centre, Palais Royale, Winterfolk, and Benares Historic House, but also in Kelowna BC and Warsaw, Poland. Recently, he has played at four outdoor festivals in the Toronto area as well as a memorable event at Nathan Phillips Square.

For a hobbyist songwriter, it doesn’t get much better than this, but Roger wants to improve, even just a little, with each passing year.
